Creed II is predictable like most sports dramas in general and Rocky films in particular. But it packs an emotional punch that I wasn’t expecting. The characters are given room to show who they are and their emotional growth. There are some sweet movements in the film, with characters dealing with defeat, adversity, emotional baggage, and their past mistakes.
